I have always looked up to you and thought of the many beautiful things you've contributed in the arts. Now that you are gone (to a better place, I'd like to think), I can't help but think of the other great things that you might have created to inspire and leave us in awe. We may never understand why God took you away at a time when you had so much to live for. I think it's just too soon. But I am sure the universe has its reasons. I'm dedicating my film thesis Sapatos to you because as my thesis adviser, you pushed me to do better and you promised me that I'd make the then-nearly-impossible film thesis a reality. And I did, with flying colors. You will be missed. --Louella |
